A Trip to England This summer vacation, I went to England with the school for learning. At first, we went to Norwich; we studied in a local school, Thorpe St Andrew School, for two weeks. During the two weeks, we learnt English, French, German, art, science, history, geography, life skills, P.E., design and technology, etc., exactly the same as what they had been learning for years. Taking lessons with them was fun because their ways of learning are very different from ours. They have Smart Boards in every classroom, and the teachers use them to teach. Because of that, the teacher can tell the students to go up stage and do some questions. Everyone had two buddies that helped and took care of us when we were there. My buddies were Imogen and Kate, they were both very nice to me, and we still keep in contact until now. While we were in Norwich, we stay with a home stay family; our home ma is called Venessa, and she was very kind to us, and she gave us a lot of food to eat and drove us to school almost every day. In the home stay family, we made a friend, Marta, a Spanish who lived with us and studied in the same school with us for three weeks. After the two weeks at the school, we said goodbye to our teachers and friends at the farewell party, and to the home ma at the home stay. Then, we went to London for sightseeing on the next day. We went to the British Museum, the Big Ben, Ely, and the one I think is the best. We got to watch the Phantom of the Opera! It was amazing; they sang very well and acted very well. Although our tour guide was very unprofessional, I still learnt a lot in the trip, it was better than what I expected. I LOVE ENGLAND!
